Talamanca, Costa Rica
- Talamanca, Costa Rica The Asociación de Pro-Indigena Quirco had scheduled its first trip to assist the Indigenous Indians before our rainy season starts. We had doctors, nurses, dentists, veterinarians, pharmacists and medical students. After a long climb with stunning early morning scenery and view of the smoke rising from Turrialba Volcano we descended into picturesque valley. Everyone was busy unloading equipment, generators and supplies. Already 50 Indians were in line waiting for help. Some will walk 2-3 days to seek our help. I had two primary jobs as the group photographer: the most important was photographing the movement of construction material to the school site and the other was a request from the dentist’ group. The dentists needed photos for their suppliers like Colgate. I asked where the school was and was told it was about a kilometer walk (.6 miles). I followed the path which brought me to the school.

Photo Calendars for Police Explorer Post
- I volunteered to do fund raising calendars for the past two years for the Kingston, NH Police Explorer Post. This is such a great worthwhile organization that exposes teenagers to the opportunities in law enforcement. They volunteer to help with local community organizations and ride along with local police in their cruisers on their beat. It's a wonderful learning experience.
