River, Valleys, Waterfalls, Half Dome, etc. To find the subjects, just drive and be aware of everything around so you don't miss anything. Don't just head towards a popular tourist destination, look around for things by the side of the road such as the rivers. When you're at a popular tourist location, stay away from all the people with cameras and try another view.
