What Was Your Special/First Camera?
My first camera was the OLD Instamatic. The one with the square flashcubes. It was not my favorite camera, it was the only camera I knew about. So, I guess that was my favorite camera. Now, for the people who are as old as I am, you know that, that camera had 'drop' in film cartridges. It took great still pictures. I did not know much about photography so therefore, this was "Great". I still do not know much about photography, but at least I have gotten away from the square flashcubes. P.S. I still have that camera.
Tell Us the Story of Your Camera
I got that camera as gift from my mother. She knew that I like taking pictures. So for a graduation gift from JHS, I received my first camera. Unfortunately, I did not allow my interest of photography push me further into getting a REAL camera until last year. You ask about my age. Remember, I used an Instamatic with flashcubes. That is how old I am.
Advice
- All cameras take good pictures. Very few take great pictures unless the photographer knows and feels the subject. We all grow as we learn. We learn as we grow. Ones does not need a special camera. You need to enjoy the process of taking pictures and looking for the beauty in whatever pictures you take or create.
