Photo Description & Shutter Speed

Shutter Speed - 1/20 second - ISO - 3200 - Aperture - F/5.7

I went to a local botanical garden where they had a display of Chihuly blown glass. These represent Washington's Walla Walla Onions and were displayed in one of their ponds. At night they are subtly lite and are actually very translucent. However the slow shutter speed caused them to have a radiant glow and deeper richer colors which I could really appreciate.

Advice

  • I actually hand held my camera when I took this picture because I was going to try to do a motion blurr but I liked the results of this picture. In this instance if I had used a tripod, the picture might have looked better.
