Photo Description
This steam engine was outside a scrap metal business. I looked at it for two or three years, then decided that it would make a great subject. Only two or three days after I took about 50 pictures of it, the scrap metal business removed it. I stopped by to find out what happened to it and was told that they scrapped it. So it no longer exists, I think it was definitely my destiny to record all the images I did before it was destroyed.
I don't know if my image does justice to the reds and orange hues of this rusting piece of history.
Advice
- I look for unusual subjects, but really cannot offer much advice, I am always on the lookout for good advice. I need technical advice but always find that a great subject always overcomes a lack of technical experience.
