Photo Description
This photo was taken down at Lakeshore Blvd. in Toronto, which is a highway that runs under the Gardiner Expressway. At this point the Gardiner heads east into east Toronto and Scarborough, but also break north to the Don Valley Parkway, which gets people to the north end of the city. I like this photo because of the size of the subjects. I actually had envisioned photographing this long before I even got into photography. This is even before digital and being the Lazy Photographer I certainly couldn't be bothered with all the fuss of film. When I took up photography last year this was on my list of things that I had to shoot. I was just waiting for the right time.
Tips and Tricks
- Being somewhat introverted and staggeringly shy I really like that photography makes me want to get out and see things. This past year I have traveled all over Toronto walking the streets and shooting things and people. I've been to neighborhoods I would never have bothered to visit had it not been for my desire to capture something new and interesting. I've even met another local photographer through my blog and we go out on photographic outings regularly now.
- I also really enjoy learning new things and this year have found time to learn and understand about photography and post processing.
