Photo Description
After showing my wife the first entry I submitted for this assignment, she suggested I also include this time piece. This old mantel clock, made by the Plymouth Clock Co. a long long time ago, was passed on to me several years ago by my great aunt. We no longer wind it, yet simple movement (as I wiped away the dust) started the pendulum swinging - producing a sweet ticking sound and later the soft gong as it passed the hour mark.
Lessons Learned
- First thing I learned was not to suggest that a picture of my wife could be considered vintage (lol). Well I thought it funny at the time, but alas... As with most pictures light is always a challenge. There's either too much or not enough. Glad I bought that new speedlite and thank you to my son for blocking the light seeping through the blinds. And again - as with my first entry - I was missing my crutch (tripod). Darn it, left it in St. Louis cause I didn't want to deal with it on the plane.
