If it wasn't for my son, I would have walked right by this cute little monkey. My son wanted to take a picture and we ended up taking a few. We were visiting the National Zoo in Washington DC, and this little guy was in the small mammal house. His cage was right next to the sloths who were sleeping. Maybe that's why he was looking for attention from the crowd.
Tips and Tricks
- I thought that I would try to keep the ISO high to prevent the flash as I didn't want to upset the animals. After a gazillion other people took pictures with their flashes, I figured this one time wouldn't hurt. It definitely helps. Just make sure there are no signs telling you NOT to use flash.
