Photo Description
This photo was taken at the Memphis Zoo, in it's newest area - the Teton Trek. The Teton Trek features animals representing the ecosystem of Yellowstone National Park. These timber wolves seemed quite happy in their large enclosure, roaming around or napping in the sun.
Tips and Tricks
- Enclosures with overlooks, etc are much easier than those with bars
- Glass is tricky to shoot through without glare, and even if the glass is clean it can 'wash out' shots
- If you're going to be shooting through bars/fence/etc bring a camera with manual focus. An auto-focus will almost always focus on the fencing and not the animal - which can be really annoying
