Michigan is filled with so many barns and I spotted this one while driving down a snow-covered back road in Howell. This old barn and silo are filled with so much texture and I thought it would lend itself well to black and white. Also, a barn is usually expected to be red and upright so this one in black and white and an angle is an unexpected surprise.
Advice
- Always have your camera and don't be afraid to try looking at scenes from different angles and perspectives. Next time I would try this same shot but with a higher F stop.
