When and where was the photo taken?
This photo was taken from my back yard looking over our south facing hillside pasture. It was taken after a snow storm in January 2010.
Photo Description
This photo was taken after a snow storm in January and is typical weather here in Kentucky during the month of January. It was taken before animals had a chance to get a lot of tracks in the snow, and the sky was clear and a beautiful blue color. There was not a lot of green available for this shot, but the blue offers some great contrast.
Advice
- Look for color to add to your snow pictures eg. sky, trees, animals, etc...
- Pic a bright sunny day.
- Set your camera on a tripod if available and set 2 second delay to eliminate any shake from your and when taking the shot.
