Flowers always seem to be associated with May. I believe that is appropriate for this picture. The flower that seems camera shy can also be seen as waking up from winter. Also, the vibrant Yellows and warm Greens are a perfect welcoming into spring.
Advice
- Be patient and really check the surroundings. Through the camera and not. Your picture could be ruined by an object that is behind it, casting a shadow over it or tangle with it. Don't be afraid to handle the object(gently when needed) to remove unwanted items in the picture like pine needles or leaves or, unfortunately, someone else's trash.
