Photo Description
Entry 2: Tinsel Swirl. I set up a white background with framed canvas and laid a string of silver tinsel in a swirl pattern on top of the canvas. After I got the tinsel in place, I used crushed ice and artificial snow flakes to sprinkle around the tinsel to make it look icy and cold. The tinsel got wet and icy looking and then I shot it at different angles, putting more ice and snow around as needed to keep the effect. When I went to edit the picture I changed it to black and white as I liked the effect of the design and cold look in B&W.
Advice
- Keep trying different things in the assignments and don't give up until you capture something you like.
