This was taken last winter on the campus of the company where I work after an awesome snow storm. Lincolnshire, IL, January 2011
Photo Description
In this part of the world, the heaviest snows typically come after the holidays, so I chose this one for January. I love this time of year as I am able to head out with the camera and the world is so beautiful.
It is actually kinda nice, because it makes the place feel like you are still back in the holiday season when you get a nice snowfall.
Advice
- White balance and sun glare is the toughest thing to get on a shot like this. A polarizer and maybe even a custom white balance setting would be a good start.
