When and where was the photo taken?
I just took this picture this month. It was outside my front door. Emory, Texas. I have a few flowers and purple basil left.

When I came out my door, I was thrilled to see this hummingbird moth. I ran to get my camera, and it was still there.I chose this for April because I think of spring flowers. Also pictured with my petunias is Sweet Allyssum. And it really does have a sweet smell.Most of the time it outsmells the basil.The hummingbird moth was a great catch.
Advice
- Be quick and quiet.
- Take several shots to catch open wings, or still wings.
- Just be aware of the little things around you.
- Some things, like flowers, you can plan great color, and expect little visiters.
