Photo Description
This is a macro shot of daffodils on a windless spring day. The backlighting gives the flowers a translucent golden glow. It was taken with a 60mm macro lens at f29, ISO 200, with a 6 second exposure and +0.3 exposure bias to increase brightness. No filters were used on the camera.
Advice
- use a small aperture (f16+) for greatest depth of field
- position camera so light is shining through the back of the flowers
- use a tripod and cable release to avoid camera shake
