"Hanging Around" It appears as though this poor critter is stuck. From the look on his face you can see that he's unhappy.
This photo was taken from our back deck, looking toward the house. Our "friend" was building a web from the geranium in a flower pot on the deck railing, across an opening, to the back of the grill. He had been there a couple days before I took this photograph. The next day he was gone. Maybe he just wanted to have his picture taken.
Nikon D700, Micro 105mm 2.8 lens, f5.6, shutter 1/40; aperture priority; some cropping.
Advice
- Use a powerful macro lens.
- Try to get an angle where the web will show.
- Do not disturb.
