What I Did:
Saturday night September 11 2010
How I Did It:
I went back to the beach as I had noticed less clouds in the sky and thought I could get some better sunset pictures. This time, instead of shooting from the pier I decided to shoot closer to the shore. The tide was going out on Oyster Bay and shooting from the beach still gave me some height above the waters edge. One thing about Oyster Bay is that there are always a lot of sea gulls. I took a lot of pictures waiting for the gulls to cooperate.
Lessons Learned:
- Be prepared to leave on a photo shoot at a moments notice.
- keep your gear handy or even in the car if you have to drive often to your locations.
- Don't forget your memory card.
