Photo Description
Old beat up soccer ball resting at the post of an old beat up soccer goal. This is an image taken on a dreary day. I was in my backyard looking for something to shoot and the idea of this old beat up soccer ball came to mind. Knowing the ball by itself wouldn't hold much interest I thought about making sure it was in a context that gave good description of what it was, hence the inclusion of the soccer goal. The old beat up duck tape added to the heavily used idea.
Advice
- Be watchful of your background. I had a tough time framing this so that the background wasn't too distracting so as to keep the focus on the beat up ball and goal post. Also, I suggest using your timer function along with mirror lockup to keep the image crisp. The low light and low ISO caused a need for a s slow shutter speed.
