I would love not to have to tell you a thing about this photo, but I guess I have no choice. It was taken during a fetish fair that was held in downtown Toronto. The guy in the photo is actually in his late 20s, although he looks younger in the shot. It's all acting, really. I'm not much for this sort of thing but knew it would be an excellent opportunity for some interesting photos.
Advice
- Make time to get out to events you'd normally stay far away from.
- Try to think of how others would shoot a subject or scene and then try to come up with a new and interesting way to capture it. In this case there were a number of people shooting the subject head on, which makes for a typical shot. I got right down beside him and shot from the side. No one else was doing that.
