Photo Description

QUIET CONVERSATION

In the photograph are two geese. This shoot was taken after the group broke up, these two seem to pair off.

This picture was also taken a few miles from my home.

My camera was set :AUTO,1/400 , F 5.6, ISO 400, FOCAL LENGTH 200MM

Advice

  • Take photographs early morning or late afternnon (the sun makes things look different)
  • scout out your subject get to know his environment and let him get use to you. This also give you the opportunity to watch him and choose your options for photographing it.

Requested Critique: This is a nice scene overall but the image is very dark and the date stamp is very bright so that it is distracting. A quick adjustment of levels would make a big difference in the lighting on this image. Also, pulling the geese further up in the frame to a rule of thirds composition would be more effective since the grass is visible in the image to compete with a centered composition.
