Photo Description
These deep orange Lilies were a gift from neighbors, and are beautiful when they finally bloom. They are much darker than tiger lilies, short, and uniform in shape. They are certainly eye catching in the garden beside Hostas and attract bumblebees, and butterflies. You often see guests leave with an orange leg after brushing past the pollen laden stamens.
I am unsure of their name.
Advice
- I used my Canon Rebel EOS without a flash using natural sunlight.
- The setting was for Flowers so it was automatic, around 2 p.m. so there was bright light, but not enough to bleach out the natural colour. I try to focus as close as I can to block out anything in the background that I won't want.
