Yellow Rose/Centered

Is a model release on file for all recognizable people?

Not needed.

When was the photo taken?

October 22, 2009 at the Chipola Retirement Center.

Photo Description

Of the two methods, I think the Rule of Thirds is the strongest method in this composition. The centered picture is lovely. But, applying the Rule of Thirds increases the impact! The centered rose is lovely but, the off centered one is more appealing! The gray area to one side of the photo also creates a nice contrast with the glowing yellow of the rose! Both methods work, depending on the situation and the subject.

Tips and Tricks

  • Using the Rule of Thirds can take an ordinary picture and make it shine!
