At a golf event in Omaha this past summer.
Photo Description
I was hoping to catch a picture of a golfer coming out of the sand. I wanted to catch the golfer, the spray of the sand, and the ball all in the same frame. Fortunately, I didn't have to wait too long.
Tips and Tricks
- I knew the course enough to know that golfers were likely to land in the trap, and positioned myself with the golf hole between my location and the trap. I waited until impact before shooting. I used my 80-200mm f2.8 lens, shot at f2.8, shutter at 1/2000, ISO was 200. The lens was at full distance, 200 mm.
