Photo Description
Sorry if the image is a bit on the morbid side but it's one of my favorites from this year.
I was walking my dog down the road I live on, about a half mile into our walk I saw this very large deceased sheep. At that time a neighbor was driving by and stopped to tell me someone dumped the body there and a carcass removal service would be along in a while.
I quickly turned around & went home to grab my camera, drove back & took a few shots.

Tips and Tricks
- The placement of this carelessly discarded animal provided an interesting perspective with the long rural driveway.
- The choice to process the image in black & white seemed to add the feeling of death, loneliness & sadness.
- The texture of the matted wool & the stones in the driveway made for some good detail.
