In June 2009 while on a business trip to San Francisco.
Photo Description
The view of the pier as seen from Grotto #9 restaurant at lunch time. I had never been to San Francisco and this seemed to capture the essence of the pier for me. The boats and the city beyond, the hills and the store fronts were a wonderfully stange mixture of color and textures. Being new to photography, I was anxious to capture as much as I could.
Tips and Tricks
- Just the mish mash of colors and lines and shapes. It caught my eye and I thought it would make a nice picture
