Reflection entry #1

Is a model release on file if needed? (Yes/No/NA)

no

What day was the photo taken?

Friday February 4th

Photo Description

This image is actually two photos of the same object but at different focal lengths.

The subject is a decorative tile which my granddaughter created in her high school art class. It is decorated with pieces of broken mirror. The left side of the image had the camera focused on the tile itself then without moving the camera but just shifting the focus to the mirror fragments resulted in the right side of the image.

Advice

  • Try not to look at any object from only one perspective, it is surprising what you can see just by changing you point of focus.

Liz Masoner, Photography Guide, says:

Multiple image composites are not eligible for judging in the assignments.
