This image is a great example of how subjects do not always have to look into the camera. The tricky lighting situation of a bright outside and dark inside is handled beautifully here so that some detail is visible in the door, floor and girl's dress without the outside being overexposed. Black and white works well here also as it keeps outside greenery from distracting from the little girl. By using the doorway as a frame the subject is centered but still maintains visual impact.
