Selecting a subject that is different from the mainstream is generally a good way to get your images noticed. The crisp focus at the important part of the subject in this close up of a bubble and water drop makes the image work. By capturing the reflection of the flag in the drop the visual interest of the image is helped by the definition the color lends to the drop. The drop is placed via the rule of thirds to help insure visual impact.
