Winner and Finalists of Photographer's Choice Assignment - #30

The slight soft focus of this image and blurred water gives the scene a painted feeling that works well with the subject matter. By using a less contrast this effect was intensified. The stream creates a nice leading line to guide the eye to the abandoned homesite and the newer cabin. Putting the cabins further to the right of the photo could further add to the visual impact.
