This image works very well in black and white. The vignetting at the corners helps to focus attention on the subject and add a nice antique feel to the image. The lighting on the white horse gives lots of detail without losing feature definition in the horse's face and front body. The breeze adds a sense of motion to the image and subject placement using the rule of thirds adds even more visual impact.
