This image takes a look at a small portion of a larger object. By using the natural shape of the flower as edging on three sides of the image, it helps direct focus to the center of the flower. The slight slope of the flower helps add to the feeling of depth. Focus is sharpest on the back side of the center of the flower which works well with the burst of bright color at that point.
