Excellent use of the rule of thirds in this image! The dog's eyes are on a crossline and the eye closest to the camera is on the upper left intersection. The dog's snout is also on a crossline and the head is on a vertical crossline. This draws attention to the entirety of of the dog's head while beautifully keeping the eye the focal point of the image.
