Winner and Finalists of Assignment Action - #26

This image is a wonderful example of a frozen moment that would normally occur too quickly for the eye to recognize. We see an even like this in motion and rather blurred on the details. By using a higher shutter speed the photographer captured the animal in mid-shake and froze the water droplets in flight. The image is also well composed, although I would have liked to see just a hair more room in front of the dog's face.
