Baseball players are often referred to as the "boys of summer." Here we see a player waiting for his turn. The offset of the player via the rule of thirds helps to add impact as does the out of focus background. A slightly different angle could make this image even stronger by avoiding the pole in the background so near the head and the fencetop running through the player's head.
