This image illustrates family togetherness for Thanksgiving as well as suggesting the bounty of the holiday with the table place settings. The choice of black and white helps to maintain focus on the subject, not varying colors of clothing and table linens. This image would actually benefit from centering the subject a little more horizontally so that it was not quite so crowded on the right hand side.
