Thanksgiving Finalist Image "B" by Karla Pitts

This image is very nice interpretation of a Thanksgiving staple, pumpkin pie. The decreasing heights of the items also helps to lead the eye from the pumpkin down to the finished pie. I also like the very nicely improvised background. Backgrounds do not have to be labeled as "photography background" in the store for them to be legitimate. Check around your house and chances are you'll find some nice fabrics or other materials you can use for photographic backgrounds. The only distracting part of this image is the twin light reflection under the pumpkin.
