First, I have to say that there are entirely too many people who entered this contest that are capable of cutting a "perfect slice" of pumpkin pie. Am I the only one who can't do that? Anyway, this image is a nice still life that stays almost completely in the yellow color tones which creates a very unified feel to the image. I would have preferred a little less steep angle so as to give some definition to the pie rather than it being lost on the plate but the composition is very well done.
