My Photography Bucket List

Ever since the movie "Bucket List" came out the term has come into much more common usage. We all have a list of things we would dearly love to do if time, money, and resources were unlimited. My photography bucket list is most likely wishful thinking but there is nothing wrong with dreaming! Of course, my full bucket list is pages and pages long. I've narrowed it down to my top 5 wishes here.

After you've read my photography bucket list I'd love for you to share your photography bucket list.

  1. Sandhill Cranes at Bosque Del Apache
There are places in the world where more Sandhill Cranes gather but the landscape at Bosque Del Apache and the easy access to the birds make this tops on my list. The chance to stand nearly in the midst of 11,000 of these huge birds as they take off nearly all at once is an experience I would love to photograph.
  2. The Everglades
You could honestly spend your entire lifetime within the Everglades and not photograph all of the subjects available.
  3. African Safari
Cliche I know but I would love to photograph not only the wildlife of the Serengeti but the landscape as well.
  4. Storm Chasing
My home state has so many trees that storms are almost completely hidden from view. I would love to take an entire season to chase tornadoes and other storms on the plains of the US.
  5. Volcanic Eruption
Hey, I never said I was smart about my own safety when I have a camera in front of my face. I would love to capture a major volcanic eruption.
