The Bottom Line

This small standing rabbit is a great alternative to live bunnies who often become terrified when passed from person to person. There is also no chance of this prop biting a child. The main drawback is that different props would be required for different poses.

Pros

  • Does not require care like a real animal
  • Can not be hurt like a real animal

Cons

  • Initial cost can be high
  • Not as "realistic" as a real bunny
  • Different props required for different poses
  • Chinese manufacturer does not have high quality controls

Description

  • Body made of plastic covered in real rabbit fur.
  • Eyes are plastic and glued onto the head.
  • Nose is painted pink and whiskers are synthetic.

Guide Review - Review of Small Standing Rabbit Photography Prop

This small standing rabbit is made of plastic and covered in real rabbit fur. The nose and eyes are the least realistic part of this prop. While the prop looks great on camera, I must point out that the quality control of the company that makes this rabbit is not very high. The prop I purchased has a couple of spots where the fur does not completely cover the plastic form. In this case, the spots do not show on camera most of the time. Still, if purchasing this type of prop, be aware it may take a couple of tries to get one of acceptable quality.

The convenience of having a non-living prop is the big selling point for this type of prop.
