MyPhotoAlbum.com is a highly customizable photo sharing site that has tons of features to make it worth the $20 Club Membership. As a paid service, MyPhotoAlbum.com certainly rates 4 stars. However, as a free site - it just doesn't cut it when compared to other free sites. Because the free album has a time limit on how long it is really free, and due to the drastic capability limitations, MyPhotoAlbum.com's "free" service gets 1.5 stars.

MyPhotoAlbum.com has tons of options to make your online photo album reflect your personality. They also offer prints and gift purchasing from uploaded images. However, unless you make your album private or completely disable purchasing from your album - any visitor to the site can purchase items from your images with no monies from those sales going to the image owner.

Cost
There is a "free" album option but to maintain this option you must make a purchase from uploaded prints at least once a year. Also, free albums do not have hot linking functionality. Club Membership is $20 a year and opens functionality for hot linking, greater customization, and unlimited photo storage.

Terms and Conditions state "you grant FortuneCity a royalty-free, nonexclusive, worldwide, unrestricted license to use, copy, transmit, publicly display, and distribute such content, for the limited purposes of publishing and promoting the user's content in connection with the MyPhotoAlbum service." The terms and conditions do also state they will not use your images without permission.

Features
MyPhotoAlbum offers a lot of features but most of them are restricted to Club members. Videos and photos can be uploaded, but screenshots are forbidden. Albums can be embedded in other websites, lots of customization options are available for albums, and there is a nice variety of products for purchase from images (although shipping is pricey for small orders). The upload interface is very simple and offers several upload methods. Also, Private albums can be shared on an individual basis if you provide the web address and password to friends.
