Definition: Bulb is a setting of time on cameras. Bulb means that the shutter will stay open as long as the shutter release button is pressed. It is called Bulb, or bulb setting, because the original shutter buttons were actually soft bulbs attached to the camera via a tube/wire. The bulb activated the shutter when squeezed.
