Guide Review - Review of Rogue FlashBender Small Reflector
The new Rogue FlashBender Small Reflector is one of those rare accessories that once you try it you wonder how you ever survived without it. Designed to fit almost any hotshoe camera flash on the market, the FlashBender gives you the power to literally bend light. The FlashBender is a reflector that attaches to a flash with a sturdy Velcro strap so no adhesives are needed. The reflector can then be bent into virtually any shape needed for your photo shoot. From a gentle curve to a complete snoot the FlashBender gives you control over light with one compact accessory instead of a gear bag full of various reflectors.
Constructed from a washable reflective fabric backed with sturdy nylon and steel positioning rods, the Small Rogue FlashBender still manages to weigh in at only 2oz for its 10"x7" size. The two steel positioning rods easily bend to whatever shape needed and return to their original position without losing strength. The velcro strap that attaches the FlashBender also holds very securely with no slipping even when pointing the flash straight down.
With 2 or 3 slave flash units equipped with FlashBenders at photographer could easily create almost any studio lighting situation needed without the need for large strobes/umbrellas/snoots, and other accessories.
