New Way to Connect Your Images to TV

By Liz Masoner, About.com

Ever get frustrated with a crowd of family members all huddled around your laptop, trying to view the latest photos? Kodak has announced a new Easyshare HDTV dock that will allow Easyshare camera users to display their images directly onto their HDTV. However, even non-Easyshare users will find this new piece of hardware very useful. The new dock, available in September 2007, will include an USB port and a SD/MMC card slot. This will let users connect their images to HDTVs via thumbdrive or SD/MMC cards as well. The connection to HDTVs will be via simple video cables, much like your VCR or game system. The Easyshare HDTV dock is also compact and easily portable for viewings at family reunions or other get-togethers.
