Once the resize panel appears, you will need to chose "Preserve Aspect Ratio" to ensure the length to width ratio of the image remains the same and to allow you to enter either the length of width size while the computer calculates the other dimension.

After checking preserve aspect ratio you will select "Actual/Print size" and change the resolution. For video display such as internet and computer monitors, 72 dpi is sufficient. If you will be printing the image select 300 dpi. If you know the size in inches you would like the image you can enter it at this point and then select "done". If you need to enter a pixel size, proceed to step 3.
