While there is still a bit of color in this image, the strongest subject is almost totally dark. The ferris wheel has only tiny bits of highlight on the very fringes so it works well as a silhouette overall. The positioning of the wheel to one side helps add to its visual strength so that the bright street light and the color on the flags do not detract too much from the wheel itself.
