This photo uses clashing colors to help grab our attention. The brightly colored dragonfly stands out well against the green background and the yellow flower further draws our attention to the bug. The dragonfly and flower are on rule of thirds lines and the flower/bug's face are at or near a rule of thirds intersection point. The out of focus background helps to further emphasize the focus of the dragonfly and flower. The position of the dragonfly also helps create visual impact by have the fact toward the camera and facing across the frame as well.
