This image uses a close crop to give the illusion of being very close to the fire and heat. Using an exposure that allows us to see the detail in the logs without large amounts of overexposure and quick shutter speed that freezes the flames helps to further draw us into the fire. The composition is also good with the logs adding visual interest and depth to the flames.
