This image makes use of a familiar subject and blur to convey motion. Most of us have seen a road like this before as we drive (or ride as a passenger) a vehicle. The familiarity of the scene blends well with the strong blur of the side of the road to give the feel of moving down the more stable road. The curve in the image adds to this effect. The composition works well also with the curve of the road and the blurry trees leading the eye further into the curve and motion.
