Liz Masoner

Liz Masoner is a nationally published freelance photographer and photography instructor based in Central Alabama. She specializes mostly in nature and event photography.

Liz is a freelance photographer with more than 20 years of photography experience. Her images have appeared in newspapers, magazines, and other publications such as Nature Friend and Bee Culture. Liz offers photography workshops for adults and children at the Shelby County Academy of Fine Arts in central Alabama.

Liz holds a bachelor's degree in marketing.

Photography is a way to capture a moment in time. Fancy equipment is not necessary to take wonderful images. Learning to see like the camera sees and knowing your internal vision are much more important than expensive equipment to photography. Most important is that you have the desire to take great images and be willing to learn.
